  1. I’ve been using Paint.Net for close to two years now, and it’s absolutely the best open source paint program out there for my needs, unlike the GIMP, which is difficult to use. While I do have some tiny quibbles,(lack of layer styles and free transform), it basically does everything I need. Custom brushes are coming in a future release, and there’s plenty of plug-ins to keep almost anyone happy!

  2. And they used to cal me a “Slow Learner”in school.Where do you go to get paint.net?HMMMMMMMMM Sorry devil made me write that.lolololol sheeeesh

  3. To the above readers who want to know where to get, and to the one who rudly asked… UM… google search? … just maybe, just maybe, you never know.. just a possiblitly, and I’m grasping at straws here, but possibly google and type in ‘paint.net’ ????
Just a though… that ANY 5 year old could figure!
    Signed,
Sick of Abusive, impatient, humans who are killing the world with bitterness.

Thanks PC-Pitstop!… so much information, and FREE TOO!

  4. ok, I finally went to paint.net and tried their d/l links. 2/3 did not work, but finally one to CNET did after trying several times. I haven’t installed the program yet, but will and compare to Corel – that I have been using for 10 years.

  5. This really is a fantastic piece of software. I would recommend it to anyone. You can do practically everything that a program costing hundreds of pounds will do. Colouring photographs, in particular, is a doddle.
