Do you find the constant need to type in a password a little much, every time you start up your computer?  The good news it, this is a great control to keep your data safe; however if you have a PC that sits at home, this may not be necessary.  To remove this control, you can type “netplwiz” into the search bar at the bottom of your screen, next to the start menu. This will populate a User Accounts box, in which you can uncheck the need for users to enter a password.

Want to speed up the process of shutting down your PC?  You can create a shortcut on your desktop that will automatically shut down your PC.  To do so, you have to right click anywhere on a free spot on your desktop, click New>Shortcut.  In the locations field, type: %windir%\System32\shutdown.exe /s /t 0
