  1. I have a new Lenovo (1 month old) w/ Windows 8.1 already installed–DO I NEED to follow these directions?

  2. If win8 is install right and yor pc is ok, win 8.1 update without no problems at all. You can get MS to help, but not all help is right, and sometimes you must have diff. way to go on mail to get there answering by code. Win 8.1 take less than half place on your pc. and very good in many way. I change from Enlish/Thai to English/Danish – no problem.

  4. I tried to install KB2919355 today and it failed several times showing error 0x80240016. Tried manual install, also failed. I stumbled upon the fix by opening Windows Update page, clicking on Help up in right corner, and searching for Window Update Troubleshooter. In the window which opened with all the error codes I scrolled down to “Windows Update error 0x80240016” I clicked on that and downloaded and installed the troubleshooter. I saved that file for future use. I ran the program and it found problems with Windows Update. Clicked next and it fixed the problem which was preventing successful installation of KB2919355. Actually I found that update all installed by running this ‘fix’ program. On a second computer I had to retry install and it was also successful.
