I’m sure we all live in a world where we assume our accounts are all safe as long as we can still use them regularly. Same goes for our banking account, as long as the amount does not disappear suddenly, we will assume our account is safe.

What if I were to tell you that your account is already hacked and someone knows your username and password? By having these two criteria, it is sufficient to enter into sites like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Paypal, and many more to try out your username and password combination.

I’m sure today with every one of us holding at least 5 online accounts, we share the same username and password between accounts. If you are one of those, you are at the right place for today I am going to share with you a site where you can check whether your account is hacked or compromised.

  1. I still ask myself why computer users continue to use Microsoft’ Internet Explorer, maybe because it is in the computer they are forced to purchase in the big box stores, (monopoly comes to mind)?

There are 600+ different operating systems available to computer users, and many web browsers are freely available that are not attacked as often as Microsoft’ Internet Explorer. If you clicked on the link and were re-directed to an advertisement your system is most likely compromised with some sort of malware or advertising root kit.

PCpitstop has a good scanner that can catch a lot of malware, & problems in a lack of updates, or find more than a few of the security problems in Microsoft’s operating Systems.

I would suggest you learn to use another operating system to surf the web, to prevent the drive by infections from taking control of your system. I am certain there are computer clubs in a great many location around the world, that can introduce you to another operating system, and help you learn to dual boot all your computer systems.

Banking transactions & sensitive email on-line can be done with a secure Live CD, that can never be compromised, thus everyone can be safe & stay under the criminal radar using a seldom attacked operating system, instead of using a Microsoft Operating System that is unsecured 99% of the time.

There are individuals that can create and run a secure Microsoft operating system, but not many people are capable of that accomplishing that feat. A new computer purchased from a big box retailer brought home, activated and taken on-line is always unsecured, available for criminal compromise…

  2. I clicked on the link you recommended to check if my account is hacked and some weird ad came up about material processing. Then when i tried the other link to check, I filled in my e-mail address and was asked to “DRAW” the imgage below to veryfy that I am legit. Another messae came up telling me that I need a “modern” browser to find out if my account was hacked. This is the weirdest thing I have ever heard of ..
A reply is greatly appreciated …
