HELLO out there everyone! I want to personally welcome you to our site. I’ve worked in the PC business a long time. Most recently, I worked at Gateway computers for 8 years as Senior Vice President of Gateway’s Consumer Division. In addition to profit and loss responsibility, I was in charge of all of our phone staffs throughout the world. That’s sales, customer service, and, most importantly, technical support.
What did I learn from all of that? PCs are a major pain in the rear. Although PCs are a fantastically flexible development platform, it is this flexibility that makes PCs difficult to configure, and at times down right frustrating. That’s why we built this site: to make things easier.
No matter who you are, you’ve probably heard or experienced a PC horror story. Here at the Pitstop, our ambition is to help you find problems before they become problems. We deal with all kinds of problems:
performance problems, usability problems, security problems, hardware crash problems. In many instances, through our unique auto fix technology, we can fix the problem for you.
If you’re a PC enthusiast, we’ve got lots to hold your interest including detailed benchmark reports on the
performance of your PC, and lengthy reports on each and every parameter setting in your PC.
Although we’ve worked long and hard, plus spent a lot of money, making the Pitstop an engaging and
useful tool for all PC users, we’re not resting on our laurels. In the near future, we’ll be adding many more diagnostics to our test suite, and holding contests for the best and worst PCs visiting our site.
