Bass is a great addition to the crew. He combines tech savvy and a health skepticism with an engaging writing style (and he didn't even pay me to say so).

Not that it was ever low, but with Steve B your credibility has just increased many fold! I used to receive his newsletter but he must have gotten mad at me for something.

Steve personally helped me out with a dispute with a PC manufacturer. In addition to his vast knowledge, he has the best sense of humor of any tech writer.

If the 10th of December was Steve's premier edition, why didn't he or someone check his math? It is not just the 6 cent math error that worries me. It is the fact that if he were correct, no one noticed what he was saying, because if you could get minutes at 6 cents with no strings (and good for a year), it should have been in 24 pt bold. PCPitstop is now more commercial but not as good as it used to be. I'll bet the revenues will be better for a while, but that is the point!

Good Luck. Missed you on PC World and googled to find that you made the move. Did you do Tiger Direct.
